Ditmer Enameling Technology BV has assisted Weber-Stephen with the design, installation & commissioning of a large enameling plant for grills in Zabrze, Poland.
The first phase of this project was realized in only 12 months, despite the COVID-19 epidemic, and involved the following enameling equipment :
- one gas heated multistage spray washer with three parallel conveyors
- one gas fired dryer
- one advanced waste water treatment system
- two fully automatic powder enamel systems with robots
- Two jig cleaning booths
- One gas fired furnace with heat-exchanger, fluor filter & cooling tunnel.
Later we also supported Weber with the implementation of a wet enameling department, consisting of :
- enamel preparation
- enamel spraying
- enamel dryer
- drying conveyor
