EEA-Guideline 1001 was introduced in 2016 to satisfy the urgent need for uniform test methods & limits for enamelled food stuff.
EN ISO 4531, concerning test methods & limits for the release from enamelled articles in contact with food, has been revised by ISO/TC 107 & a new version was published in September 2018.
The EEA-Guidenline 1001 is therefore no longer needed and formally withdrawn as of February 2019.
