Cold enamel repairs

How cold enamel may be used to repair damaged vitreous enamel coatings.

After successfull completion of the enameling process, finished goods are typically transferred to an assembly area prior to dispatch.

During (internal) transport and assembly, the enamel coating may be damaged by rough handling.

Depending upon the degree of damage, the item is either scrapped, recoated at the enamel shop or touched-up with a cold enamel paint.

Liquid cold enamel, better known as Remaille, is typically applied with a little touch-up brush.

Cold enamel is available in 20 standard colors and for industrial users, which require more then 5 liters, it may be matched exactly to the color of your finished products.
