Works in the porcelain industry since 1984 and visited hundreds of enameling operations worldwide.

Designed, built & started-up industrial enameling furnaces and complete enameling plants, while employed by Ferro (Holland) Engineering Division in Rotterdam and its legal successors Smit Ovens BV and Smit Sinus Enamelling BV from 1984 till 1996.

Designed & started-up powder enameling systems and provided project management for complete powder enameling plants projects, while employed by Nordson’s European Finishing Group from 1996 till 2007.

Proud member of the German and American enameling association and speaker at international enameller congresses.

Ditmer Trading & Consulting BV is a family owned company based in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, which was founded by Ronald Ditmer in 2007.

We are specialized in providing a wide range of services and equipment to (future) enamelists during the entire life-cycle of their industrial enameling plant.

We are focussed on providing in-depth process & equipment know-how and project management support, based on many years of hands-on experiences with the design, delivery & commissioning of custom-build capital equipment within the finishing industry.

We are passionate about the unique benefits of industrial porcelain (vitreous) enamel & electrostatic powder application and share our accumulated knowledge of these technologies via professional advice, e-learning courses & blogs.
