Smalterie Lombarde used to enamel cooker panels and baking ovens for third parties with wet enamels.
With regard to the benefits of powder enameling, they wanted to convert to electrostatic applied powder enamel.
However, due to their relative small production volume, it wasn’t justified to invest in dedicated production lines for each product family.
Therefore they installed a combined powder enamel system, which was integrated with the spray degreaser & dry-off oven.
This combi system consist of a long powder booth with all necessary powder enamel application equipment to coat either flat panels or baking ovens.
Provided concept engineering and project management for this project.
